Julie's Memorial Tennnis Tournament

I took these photos of Julie & Audrey the day after we found out her diagnosis. She still managed to smile....

Benefit Tennis tournament was a success. Raising over $3000.00 to go towards Audrey's trust fund. Chandra and I played doubles together. All in all we played over 47 games and had a great time. The last time I had played in a tournament was in July and Julie was my partner. We won the tournament, looking back, Wow I'm so glad we did!

To the "Treehouse Girls" Through our journey with Julie's passing the three of us were by her side each and every day of the last two months of her life. We laughed, we cried, we questioned, we sobbed but through it all we gained major strength and were given new relationships with each other to move forward with. We have each other now to remember our dear friend. To watch over Audrey and shower her with love. Julie named us her treehouse girls. We each have a key to hold onto. A key to Julie's heart and soul. This was something we giggeled about in hospice. We were in the treehouse. You had to have the password to come in. It made Julie feel safe and gave her some sense of relief, to feel like she really wasn't where she was at. One day we will all be together in the Big Treehouse Jewels. Until then hold down the fort.
