EASTER 2008

I am glad to see that these little kids can still smile. Especially Logan & Audrey as they both have lost a parent these past months. Easter was bitter sweet. A holiday that we are used to spending with both Rob and Julie. A holiday that we have usually shared as combined families as good friends with all the kids running around chasing bubbles, hunting eggs, and enjoying the sunshine.

To the "Treehouse Girls" Through our journey with Julie's passing the three of us were by her side each and every day of the last two months of her life. We laughed, we cried, we questioned, we sobbed but through it all we gained major strength and were given new relationships with each other to move forward with. We have each other now to remember our dear friend. To watch over Audrey and shower her with love. Julie named us her treehouse girls. We each have a key to hold onto. A key to Julie's heart and soul. This was something we giggeled about in hospice. We were in the treehouse. You had to have the password to come in. It made Julie feel safe and gave her some sense of relief, to feel like she really wasn't where she was at. One day we will all be together in the Big Treehouse Jewels. Until then hold down the fort.

We all go through tough things in our lives such as personal loss, bad relationships, making poor choices, not taking care of your body, mind and soul to their top potential. Why don't you make today the 1st day you start letting go of the negative and start focusing on the positive in your life. If you want change YOU must make the choice. Don't YOU deserve that? I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone. It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever God means for me to have He'll give it to me. And if it takes too much sweat I don't need it. Stop begging people to stay. If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents LET IT GO!!! If you have a bad attitude..... LET IT GO!!! If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better......
